Bihar: In Motihari, a dispute between husband and wife over phone in Siswania village of Banjaria police station area turned fatal. Here, the husband who had gone abroad to earn money talked to his wife over phone and after this the husband returned home furious. As soon as he came home, he killed his wife. The murderous husband was arrested by the police within half an hour of the incident.

Banjaria police station in-charge Indrajit Paswan said that Shakir Rehman of Sisvania village was married to Murtaza Khatoon two years ago. Shakir Rehman had gone to another state to work as a labourer. It is being told that there was a dispute between the husband and wife over some matter on the phone. On receiving the information of the incident, police station in-charge Indrajit Paswan himself went to the spot and along with him were trainee PSI Neelam Kumari, Sonalal Kumar along with watchmen Sanjay Paswan and Arvind Kumar. A raid was conducted and the said criminal was arrested just half an hour after the incident.
During the raid, the knife used in the murder was also recovered. The SHO said that this is a heinous crime and there should be no room for sympathy for such a crime. In this case, detailed reasons of the incident and other people involved in it are being identified.
The postmortem report will reveal more. The police is investigating several angles in the case. This incident is from Siswania village ward number 12. Murtaza Khatoon was 20 years old and was married to Shakir Rehman two years ago. Shakir Rehman had absconded after killing his wife. He thought that he would go underground after this incident, but the Banjaria police foiled his plans.
